Chapter 1: Who Am I?

1.1 Earliest Happiest Memory

One of the first ways to truly own your story is to reflect on one of your earliest, happiest memories.

Once you're there, really reflect on this moment. Who else was there? What were you doing? But most importantly, how did you feel?

This exercise is all about reclaiming the most authentic version of you, and developing your happy words in the process.

Exercise 1.1

Part 1

Think about one of your earliest happiest memories. It can even be one that comes from a photo. Describe it in your notebook under the heading “Earliest Happiest Memory”.

Part 2

Now go back to that happy memory and write down the words that best describe how that little child is feeling. Write the feelings in your notebook under the heading “My Happy Words”.
